The title is all the introduction you need, below is a list of what we believe to be the 5 best marketing podcasts that will help you grow your business!
- Storybrand Podcast
If you only had time for one podcast, it should be Storybrand. This is the best podcast out there for small businesses (in our opinion). In each episode, Donald Miller interviews an industry expert who has a wealth of knowledge. Past guests have included Seth Godin, Michael Hyatt, Bob Goff.
Donald Miller’s company, StoryBrand, has helped over a thousand businesses, non-profits, and personal brands clarify their message. As a result, they create better websites, superior email marketing campaigns, and incredibly effective marketing materials.

Pro Tip: Skip the first 4-6 minutes of the podcast to get to the start of the episode’s interview. (Donald Miller and JJ Peterson, please forgive me! I LOVE you and your podcast. I just don’t always have time to listen to the beginning chats)
- Social Pros Podcast
This is one of my favourite social media podcasts. What makes it so great is that it’s practical. The host, Jay Baer (President of Convince & Convert) interviews people working in social media for some of the largest brands in the world like Ford, Dell and Remax. These case study-like interviews provide incredible insight into how social media is used globally by some of the world’s biggest brands, how they measure success and justify social media marketing costs.
Duration: Ranges from 30–60 minutes
- Social Media Examiner
In his weekly podcast, host, Michael Stelzner, talks with different social media marketing experts about the latest trends and successful strategies that you can employ to grow your social media presence. For each episode, there’s a very detailed blog post about the content of the interview so that you don’t have to take notes while listening.
Duration: 45 minutes
- Social Media Lab by Agorapulse
This podcast is kept short and to the point. The hosts Richard Beeson and Scott Ayres from Agorapulse like to refer to themselves as the “Mythbusters” of the social media marketing ecosystem. Richard and Scott present one social media marketing question or myth and provide the data-backed answers. If you would like to make data-driven decisions for social media then this podcast is for you.
A few examples of previous podcasts, “Can Emojis in a Facebook Post Increase Reach?” and “What are the Best Type of Instagram Stories to Catch User Attention?”.
Duration: Ranges from 15-20 minutes
- Duct Tape Marketing Podcast
The Duct Tape Marketing Podcast is hosted by Marketing Consultant and Author John Jantsch. In the podcast, Jantsch interviews thought leaders, experts, and authors who share their business and marketing tips, tactics, stories and secrets. What I love about this podcast is that it’s short and precise, giving you practical tips you can implement in a small business.
